ATLANTA, GA, UNITED STATES, August 13, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Allied Fence, a trusted Metro Atlanta based fence company serving the community for more than 70 years, completed a major installation within the Entertainment District at Centennial Yards in downtown Atlanta.

The project included 4,226 linear feet of chain link fencing and 275 linear feet of steel fencing, for a combined total of more than 4,500 feet. The installation established a defined perimeter, separated public spaces from restricted sections and supported the controlled movement of workers, visitors and service traffic throughout the property.

The fencing was especially important as downtown Atlanta experienced increased pedestrian and event activity during the 2026 World Cup. Located near several of the city’s largest sports and entertainment destinations, Centennial Yards required a fencing solution capable of supporting both immediate needs and the continued development of the property.

The Centennial Yards Entertainment District includes three hotels and connects directly to State Farm Arena and Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which was renamed Atlanta Stadium during the 2026 World Cup. Its location near these major destinations placed the Allied Fence installation at the center of heightened pedestrian, construction and event activity throughout the tournament.

“Completing a fencing project of this size in such a visible and active part of downtown Atlanta required careful planning, experienced crews and close attention to every detail,” said Michael Cooper, Allied Fence Operations Manager. “Our team understood the importance of creating a secure and clearly defined perimeter while allowing work and activity throughout the district to continue efficiently.”

The perimeter installed by Allied Fence encompassed Cosm Atlanta, a centerpiece of the new Entertainment District at Centennial Yards. The immersive sports and entertainment venue features an LED dome measuring 87 feet with resolution exceeding 12K.

Allied Fence coordinated the placement of the chain link and steel fencing to address the specific needs of different sections of the property. The completed installation provided separation between public spaces, construction zones and operational sections while maintaining necessary access points throughout the site.

The combination of chain link and steel fencing allowed Allied Fence to provide practical site protection while meeting the functional requirements of this prominent mixed-use development.

“This project reflects the experience and dependable execution Allied Fence brings to complex commercial installations,” said Kenny Gillam, Vice President of Sales and Installation for Allied Fence. “We are proud of the work our crews completed and of the role our fencing played in supporting the safety and organization of an event of this scale.”
